Need to add new Dimensions to Public Relations
Shri Achyutananad at symposium of World Public Relations Day

A symposium on Globalization,Emerging India and Relevance of Public Relations was organized to mark the World Public Relations Day here today.The Director General of Makahanlal Chaturvedi Rashtriya Patrakarita Vishwavidyalay,Shri Achyutananad Mishra was Chief guest and the Director ,Public Relations,Shri Pankaj Raag was special guest at the symposium organized under joint auspices of the Public Relations Society of India's Bhopal chapter and the MetroMirror.Com First internet Magazine of Modern Madhya Pradesh Former Director General of police,Shri S.C.Tripathi presided.

Speaking on the Ocassion,Shri Mishra underlined the expansion of Public Relations activities and importance of communication in this age of globalization and stressed the need for adding new dimension to public relations.There is need for widest possible expansion of public relations with all its merits and demerits he added.

Shri Pankaj Raag stressed the need for value based public relations.He said that even practically successful public relations has little meaning sans values.He said that the many a value system have crumbled following the onslaught of globalization.There is need to strive for preserving and promoting these values against all odds.

Shri S.C.Tripathi said that feedback is very important in public relations. A successful public relations personnel maintain a live contact with the media to get the feedback and to promote the cause of his or her organization.

Senior Journalist,Shri Vijay Bondria,vice president of the Public Relations Society of India ,Shri Vishnu Khanna and Senior Publics Personnel,Shri C.K.Sardana also expressed their views.Shri Harsh Suhalka from the MetroMirror.Com spoke about his institution.Shri K.C. Mouly introduced the subject and conducted the function.Secretary of the Public Relations Society India Shri Prakash Saklle Proposed a vote of thanks.

At the outset,the guests Lighted to ceremonial lamp to formally inaugrate the symposium.A number of public relations personnel,media representatives and students attented the symposium.
